At CRJ we change lives and strengthen communities by advancing policy and delivering individualized services that promote safety, justice, and inclusion.  This position is with our Family Re Entry division located in Bridgeport and Norwalk Connecticut.This position is responsible for the direct supervision and management of the IPV-FAIR Bridgeport and Norwalk program, including oversight and direction of all operational activities and clinical services.

Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Clinical and administrative oversight for the daily operation of the IPV-FAIR program; may include providing direct clinical training to ensure clinician competency in all areas relating to implementation of FAIR interventions. 
• Serve as primary liaison with DCF; coordinate monthly DCF HUB meetings and ensure agency participation and integration with other meetings related to family case management needs.
• Manage referrals, intake and case assignments and maintain staff schedules.  Assure staff accessibility to clients when needed, and at times most likely to promote engagement.
• Ensure that all assessments are completed and reviewed to determine treatment planning and discharge recommendations. 
• Attend all DCF meetings, trainings (Fathers for Change and Mothers and More Basic Trainings) and participate in consultation calls as needed/required. 
• Conduct weekly supervision (individual and/or group) to target clinician competency needs and to remove barriers to effective implementation of IPV-FAIR to all family members; review video/audio recorded sessions for fidelity and supervision purposes. 
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry and appropriate documentation of staff efforts to meet all reporting requirements. 
• Provide direct services to clients as needed/appropriate; ensure on call coverage for 24/7 emergency/after-hours response. 
• Build and maintain relationships with other community stakeholders to ensure that there are continuous linkages to appropriate services. (i.e., child protection services, schools, other behavioral health professionals, courts, advocates, and police). 
• Ensure maximization of third-party billing for eligible staff. 
• Collect and maintain program information to meet reporting and evaluation requirements. 

• Responsible for hiring and ensuring adequate staffing coverage, and ensuring a harmonious working environment for program staff.

• Ensure appropriate service locations (whether a dedicated site, a sub-contracted site or a site shared with other agencies). 
• All other duties as assigned. 

Supervision:  The Program Manager will oversee Full-Time Clinicians and Full-Time Family Support Navigators, offering clinical supervision to ensure program compliance, best practices, and proper documentation.

Time Requirements:  30 hours a week.  Nights and Weekend hours may be required at times. Flexible schedule to accommodate client-family needs. Provide after hours on-call supervision to staff and families as needed.

Education/Experience:

Connecticut License (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCSW, PhD) with a minimum of 3 years management/supervisory experience and a minimum of 4 years providing direct services to families.  Experience with intimate partner violence is required.

Language Ability:  Very high.  Strong written and verbal skills in English.  Ability to speak Spanish a plus.

Math Ability:  Medium.  Must be able to provide and interpret statistics

Reasoning Ability: Very High.  Must be able to coordinate multiple needs simultaneously and strategize around client needs and fit with program.

Computer Skills:  Very high.  Must know Word, Excel, Outlook, and have experience with database/electronic record keeping.

Work Environment: Primarily in office with occasional travel to DCF offices and training locations throughout CT. Some travel to client homes may be needed at times.  Must have own vehicle.
