    Responsibilities

    CRJ has an opening for an LICSW/LMHC Clinician for a residential group home in Boston.  We serve up to 9 young men between the ages of 18-22 through a contract with the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families.  Residents are actively engaged in local school and activities, while working to develop independent living skills. The average length of stay for each resident varies from case to case but is often more than a year. 

     

    The Clinician will:

    • Provide assessments (Comprehensive and CANS)
    • Develop and monitor Treatment Plans – lead quarterly treatment team meetings
    • Attend bi-annual Foster Care Reviews and quarterly provider meetings
    • Work with families and other community volunteers/mentors
    • Liaison with school personnel/advocate for residents
    • Collaborate with community mental health partners
    • Run weekly clinical groups
    • Interview and assess fit for potential new residents
    • Work with residential counselors and directors to improve functioning of program
    • Collaborate with other CRJ Clinicians to review best practices
